Ecstasy Of Solitude!

1

Truly said , great deeds are rare to be completed amongst the heard, creativity gets stimulated in alone time.

Only in quiet waters do things mirror themselves undistorted. Only in a quiet mind is adequate perception of the world. Though,  it would be a fool’s play not to identify the difference between “Alone” and “Loneliness” . Language has created the word “Loneliness” to express the pain of being alone. And it has created the word “Solitude” to express the glory of being alone.

Loneliness is like sitting in an empty room and being aware of the space around you. It is a condition of separateness. Solitude is becoming one with the space around you. It is a state of union. Loneliness is small, solitude is large. Loneliness closes in around you; solitude expands towards the infinite. Loneliness has its roots in words, in an internal conversation that nobody answers; solitude has its roots in the great silence of eternity.

Sometimes, to make the right choices in life you have to get in touch with your soul.
To do this you need to experience solitude, which of course most people are afraid of, because in the silence you find the truth that your mind already knows, but that your heart doesn’t want to hear. We live in fact, in a world starved for solitude, silence, and privacy; and therefore starved for meditation and true friendship.

Before ending, I would like to make a prayer for you, my charmed reader :

May you recognize in your life the presence, power, and light of your soul.

May you realize that you are never alone,
that your soul in its brightness and belonging connects you intimately with the rhythm of universe.

May you have respect for your own individuality and difference.

May you realize that the shape of your soul is unique,
that you have a special destiny here,
that behind the facade of your life there is something beautiful, good, and eternal happening.

May you learn to see yourself with the same delight, pride, and expectation with which God sees you in every moment.
